Roger was elected to Derbyshire County Council in May 2021 representing Swadlincote South Division alongside his elected to South Derbyshire District Council representing Church Gresley Ward. Roger is Vice Chairman of the Council's I&S Climate Change Committee and a member of the I&S Places Committee.
