ROBERT PARKINSON was first elected to the County Council in 1967 and represents Breaston Division, comprising of the villages of Borrowash, Breaston and Draycott. He was the Civic Chairman of the County Council for the 2019-20 Civic Year and is a member of the Planning Committee.

Robert is also a member of Erewash Borough Council representing Breaston ward. He is a former Mayor and Leader of the Borough Council and currently chairs its Planning Committee.
