James Barron moved from Birmingham to Derbyshire when he was 7. Living in Alfreton and Tibshelf for most of his adult life before moving to Pilsley, he has a deep appreciation of the issues that are faced far and wide accross the County.
An employed electrical engineer, James works all over the County and sees first hand many of the gems hidden in our beautiful area. In addition, he also sees a lot of the problems we are facing.
In the Tibshelf division, he is campaigning to improve our infrastructure, to reduce the impact of new houses on current residents and to protect our countryside with by planting our fair share of the 1 million trees pledged in the manifesto.
He is particularly in favour of the Conservative Council's plans to renew our care homes to bring them in to the 21st century, and the fantastic initiative to plant 1 million trees across the County. James serves as the Vice Chairman of the Council's I&S Resources Committee.
