22/07/2012 22:06 set some clear priorities and target spend on them. Job creation esp for young people, 1/2
22/07/2012 22:08 care of older people & support for carers and better local access to services with community budgets 2/2
We are very glad to see the Labour Group come to their senses and support Conservative Policies!
They had two options for their campaign:
1) Tell the people of Derbyshire that they would invest in services and spend money that wasn’t there.
We are guessing that they finally realised the people of Derbyshire wouldn’t fall for that one.
2) Do as the Conservatives are doing because they’ve actually managed to improve services and reduce spending
We guessed their inability to read a balance sheet or set a shadow budget meant they’d have to concede that the Conservatives have got it right.
Do Anne Western’s Tweets show that they are going with Option 2?
Or is there a third option? It is the case that they just have no idea what they’re doing?
