Jack was born at the Royal Hospital in Chesterfield and grew up just around the corner in Brimington and then in Calow. Jack went toInfants and Junior School in Brimington before attending Springwell and Netherthrope where he studied A Levels.
Following his A-Levels, Jack took a year out working before going on to study Law at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with 1st class honours. Whilst at university Jack got involved in politics and was elected as Chairman of Sheffield Hallam University Conservative Association, occasionally helping out with campaigning back home in North East Derbyshire.
After graduating, Jack decided a career in law wasn’t for him and started working for local MP Lee Rowley, helping many people throughout North East Derbyshire. Jack then worked as a Campaign Manager in the 2019 general election, playing his part in increasing Lee’s majority by 10,000 votes. He now works for Mark Fletcher in Bolsover, continuing to help as many people as possible.
Working for two MPs has given Jack a wealth of experience in working with local community groups and helping residents with many different issues and concerns. Over the course of the last couple of years, Jack has helped hundreds of residents and understands the local issues affecting people throughout his community.
As a Councillor, Jack is working hard to support the many communities throughout the Sutton Division. From bringing residents together to fight unwanted housing developments, to working with the council to improve local roads, campaigning to improve the five pits trail, working with the police to cut down on crime and opposing the unpopular Crow Lane closure.
Jack is pledging to continue to work with local councils and residents to keep making progress on the important local issues that matter to residents.
