Under the Conservatives, Derbyshire County Council has spearheaded efforts to respond to the Coronavirus pandemic. Over the past few months we have:

• Set up comprehensive webpages to help keep residents and businesses safe
• Allocated £1m in early March to help support small businesses through the pandemic with emergency relief
• Launched a Covid-19 Community Response Unit to bring agencies and over 1000 volunteers together to support residents and businesses, particularly those who have been shielding with essential deliveries
• Opened a new state-of-the-art care home to support C19 patients in their recovery and help reduce the risk of transmission
• Offered rent deferrals for business tenants in County Council-owned properties and paused Trusted Trader fees for one year
• Fixed well over 10,000 potholes during lockdown
• Re-opened Household Waste Recycling Centres and our countryside car parks
• Supported our schools to open more widely in line with Government guidance
• and much much more....

Now that the restrictions are beginning to lift and life is gradually returning to some sense of normality, our focus is very firmly on getting Derbyshire back on the road to recovery. That's why we want to hear from you. Getting our County back on track isn't going to be easy and will need agencies, communities and businesses to pull together to ensure we can grow our local economy.
