Derbyshire County Councils motto used to be 'improve life for local people' but Derbyshire Labour now appear to have dropped this.  A recent look at the authority’s corporate branding on the website shows that they have removed the motto. 

Cllr Barry Lewis, Leader of the Conservative Group said,

“I guess it is official now.  Labour have stopped pretending and shown their true colours.  With policies and cuts like they’ve enacted over the last four years they could no longer make false claims like that.”
