Teams of Conservative volunteers have been out and about in Amber Valley taking pride in their local community. The Conservatives in Action group led by County Councillor Alex Stevenson have been organizing regular clean-ups and litter picks in the Heanor and Langley Mill area.
Here is a flavour of what they have been doing over the past few weeks.
Conservatives in Action volunteers out in Heanor. Clearing up rubbish, litter and needles at the back of Boyes car park.
After spending an evening clearing up in Langley Mill, on Station Road, Pottery Lane, Elnor Street and Milnhay Road, Conservatives in Action volunteers were able to collect 16 bags of rubbish plus two headlights and two ASDA trolleys cleared away (and taken back to ASDA).
Local councillors Trevor Ainsworth and Alex Stevenson organised a very successful Conservatives in Action litter pick in Smalley.
