Cllr Carol Hart was delighted to present a Beacon of Hope award to Breadsall United Charities for their fantastic work with their local residents during the COVID=19 pandemic. The organisation delivered leaflets to all residents offering their help with shopping and errands. They delivered 185 ‘afternoon tea’ boxes and also flowers to those who have suffered illness, bereavement or general difficulties. The charity continues to do this and so much more as they are still working hard to support the community.
