Cllr Carol Hart has supported local community organisations in her division with £700 of members' community leadership funding to help them carry on their excellent work during lockdown. This includes £200 to help a book exchange set up by neighbours in West Hallam used by young and old across the community as well as £500 to support the Bowls Club in Breadsall.

Cllr Hart commented "There are many great community groups and individuals in the area that regularly give their time to help others. Although the lockdown has had its challenges, it has been heartwarming to see new initiatives set up and established ones determined to carry on. I was delighted to assist both the Bowls Club in Breadsall and the Book Exchange in West Hallam in providing grants to help them carry on the great work they are doing in the community."
